After listening to Lesley explain her life and also the teaching methods that she incorporates into her daily life is amazing. It really shows just how much the teaching methods have changed over the years. In today' s society the educational system takes advantage of the use of technology for when there is a discussion taken place, and also in a music class because now in music class if they want to know what a certain piece sounds like they would just have to look it up on their device or a CD player. Another point that she brought up is letting the kids have their independents and asking the kids what they wanted to do instead of the teacher always deciding on what going to happen. By having the children making a choice it helps make that certain class become more enjoyable for everyone, for the students it will help them see how a classroom or subject is not boring at all it can actually be fun. Also, for the teacher, it will make an everyday class not feel like a chore because then they do not always have to lay down many rules maybe just a few but can be relaxed with the students. Lesley also explained some difficulties that teaching music can bring. She elaborated on how to handle different situations for different students, she named off some areas that were a bit challenging for her. One was if she had a student who has a special needs because the chances of that student needing more attention for test or any other areas is very high, and if you have a classroom filled with 20 or more students getting that one child's needs can become hard. Although there is always a way to make sure that every child always gets the help that they need to make sure that they have the education to create a wonderful future for themselves.
After listening to her it really puts it into perspective of how much care and growth you have to do, to become an outstanding teaching, and she made me see the future I could potentially have and that helps keep me motivated to get to the finish line.

A Good teacher that I choose for this project is Miss. Honey from Matilda. Miss Honey always has a warm heart for her children, and always wants to see them achieve in life and what they believe in. Miss Honey started showing a lot more care towards her new student Matilda Wormwood. She starts to figure out that Matilda is a very special young girl, and that is when they start working on their times tables and Matilda is able to multiple big numbers in her head. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7l_-q7rT3o Over time Matilda and Miss. Honey created a bond that was unbreakable, they were always together. Miss. Honey discovered that Matilda enjoys to read she also believed that Matilda was capable of success at a very young age, but Matilda never had parents that believed in her. Near the end of the film Miss. Honey and Matilda finally got a life they both wanted, a loving family. Miss. Honey would be a type of teacher that everyone would want because she is caring, has a big heart and can do no wrong, she could also be a friend to go to when in need. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEweYr5FjVU A bad teacher that I have choose for this project is the gym teacher Gerry Duncan from the television series Mr. D. It took me a while to figure out who I would use for bad teacher but when I came across Mr. D and finally came to my sense and said yes he is the one. Mr.D is a teacher at Xavier Academy, but he is only Qualified to teach gym he finds out that he has to teach the social sciences to grade 5-12. Watching some clips I came across this clip that clearly shows that he has know idea how to mark essay papers, and he does not properly grade the papers either. He looks through the names and than he says if he likes them or not, if he likes them than he will give them a good mark, but if he does not like them than he will give a poor mark. He will only give enough marks to pass the course cause he does not want to teach them again. Choosing favourites is never the way to go because especially Mr. D goes down the favourite road, and he should not be doing that, he should be treating each and every student like an equal no matter how much you like or dislike the student. Also he should take the time to read through the papers himself and not give students false marks because he does not "have the time" to do them.
